Things To Do

Our recommendations throughout Ireland! We have been to most, if not all of these places and would be happy to answer any questions. You can travel around Ireland very easily by car (once you get used to being on the opposite side of the road) or take day tours out of Dublin or Galway.

Castle Leslie Estate

Castle Leslie Estate, MN, Ireland

There is so much to do on-site! Falconry, equestrian activities, spa services, fishing, clay target shooting, fishing, boating & walking trails.

Guinness Storehouse

The Liberties, D D08 VF8H, Ireland

See how the famous Guinness is made and grab a pint before spending the day in Dublin.

The Brazen Head

20 Lower Bridge Street, Usher's Quay, D D08 WC64, Ireland

Ireland’s Oldest Pub! Great atmosphere for food & drinks.

Temple Bar

Dublin, D, Ireland

Famous for a reason. Great atmosphere and lots of live music. Some of Julia and Josh's favorite spots include THE Temple Bar, The Norseman, and Fitzsimons Bar.

Cliffs of Moher

CE, Ireland

One of our favorite things to do in Ireland. Plan to spend the day, you can take a boat tour from the water or walk miles along the top and bring a picnic.

Jameson Distillery Bow St.

Bow Street, Smithfield, D D07 N9VH, Ireland

Options to visit the Jameson Distillery in Dublin, or in Cork - the original location if you are heading out that way.

Howth

Dublin, D, Ireland

An easy day trip from Dublin, just about 35 minutes north of the city by DART (public train). Walk the Howth cliff walk (~4 miles) for amazing views and to work up an appetite for delicious seafood right on the pier!

Galway

Galway, G, Ireland

The second biggest city in Ireland, but much more quaint than Dublin. Lots of lively pubs with music, shops, and restaurants.

Lahinch

Lahinch, CE, Ireland

One of our favorite little towns not far from the Cliffs.

Doolin

Doolin, CE, Ireland

Exactly what you picture Ireland to be. Great little pubs and shops.

Blarney Stone

Cork, CO T23 Y598, Ireland

Get ready to kiss the Blarney Stone for good luck!

The Dark Hedges

Bregagh Road, Stranocum, Northern Ireland BT53 8PX, United Kingdom

Famously known as “The Kingsroad” in Game of Thrones. Cool stop in Northern Ireland.

Giants Causeway

Northern Ireland BT57 8SZ, United Kingdom

Cobh

Cobh, CO, Ireland

Stop by the “Rainbow Houses” for the best view.

Killarney

Killarney, KY, Ireland

Lots of medieval history and architecture.

Kylemore Abbey

Renvyle, G, Ireland

Cue “in the hills of Connemara”…

For all the days along the way
