Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Our wedding will be held at Vault 634, located at 634 Hamilton St, Allentown, PA 18101.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We’ve reserved a block at the Renaissance Allentown Hotel, which offers modern amenities and easy access to the venue. We recommend booking early, as hotels can fill up quickly during summer events (e.g., Musikfest). Be sure to mention the Hartlein/Welker wedding block when reserving to receive the special rate! The parking garage is located at 712 Linden Street. Valet parking is available on 7th Street at the side of the hotel entrance.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM, so we recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early. This gives you time to park, find your seat, and settle in so you don’t miss a moment of the celebration!

Question

Where should I park for the wedding?

Answer

The closest and most convenient option is behind the venue. You will take 7th Street just beyond the circle-- the parking lot will be on the left-hand side. It is the lot for Gross McGinley Law. If you get to the stoplight, you have gone too far. There are also metered street parking spots nearby if you prefer, but spaces can be limited, especially in the evening. We recommend giving yourself a few extra minutes to park and walk to the venue.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is black tie optional, which means guests are encouraged but not required to wear formal evening attire. Think tuxedos, dark suits, long gowns, or elegant cocktail dresses. Dressy cocktail or semi-formal attire is also appropriate. We want everyone to feel comfortable and celebrate in style!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation includes a guest, we warmly welcome you to bring a guest. Please kindly let us know who will be attending with you when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If your invitation does not mention a guest, it is just for you.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Children are invited by invitation only. If your invitation includes your little ones, we’re excited to celebrate with them. Otherwise, this event will be adults-only, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the evening.
