Our Story
It all started with good southern eats!
From dates in Macon to adventures in Athens, Grace, a recent UGA graduate and Joshua, an Auburn alum, bonded over food, exercise (her-running, him-mountain biking) and realizing a west coast girl and a southern boy may just be the perfect match.
As Grace headed back to California for an internship, their long-distance journey began. Many bi-coastal treks later, Grace relocated to Atlanta. Their distance went from a flight (or two) to a two-hour drive.
This January, while vacationing, Joshua got down on one knee along the California coast. Unbeknownst to Grace, a surprise awaited at her grandparents' home.
Friends had traveled from near and far to throw the newly engaged couple a heartwarming party.
Still bonding over food finds and hitting the trails, Grace and Joshua now reside in Birmingham, Joshua's hometown. New chapters await, but the couple is most excited about one that already happened! The birth of their son, Charlie, in June.
