We met working for the same company in Gruene! Josh worked at Gruene Outfitters and I worked at the women’s store next door called The Pomegranate. We would always hang out together with mutual friends or at work functions but never expressed any interest towards one another. One day, Josh caught my eye in a different way because he came over to do some manly woodworking at The Pomegranate and I thought “oh, this guy is handsome and he’s handy!” A couple months later, I decided to invite Josh to go see Tyler Childer’s with me at Gruene Hall and from there the rest is history!
Josh planned a getaway to Joshua Tree National Park for us to finish our time in California this last May. On our first hike, we ended up at the most scenic spot, when Josh said he needs to stop to grab his camera because he saw "horse tracks." When I turned around, he didn’t have his camera, but instead was down on one knee! The moment was so surreal and amazing! So many tears were shed. Josh thought I was onto him but I was completely surprised!
