Josh here! It was the day of my medical board exams, the most important test we take in medical school. My favorite band came out with an album and I got to listen to it on the way to my exam. Later than night I got invited to a party and decided it was a day to celebrate. At the party I met this girl named Gabriella through a mutual friend Gracie McCraw (one of Gabriella's bridesmaids). We spent the rest of the night talking and hanging out. A few weeks later we went on our first date and the rest is history!

We had initially talked about getting engaged after I had finished my 2nd year of medical school. Josh was very excited about going ring shopping and the first time we went we found a ring we loved! I knew when he went and picked it up that it wouldn’t be much longer until he proposed. He knew I wanted to have my nails done so he said he would tell me when there was a “high risk day” for the proposal. The day after he got the ring he told me it was a high risk day. After dinner that night he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife!
