Ewell field car park directions: (This parking is for the majority of the guests. Please head here unless we have specified to you otherwise) Address: Gilbert White’s House and Gardens, The Wakes High St, Selborne, Hampshire GU34 3JH. Directions: When within Selborne village on the B3006 road turn into Gracious Street, which is on your right if coming from Alton direction or on your left if you are driving from Petersfield direction. Head down Gracious Street until you are met with a sharp right-hand bend, the entrance to the field parking is on your left. Please head up the entrance and park in the roped bay. There is a pedestrian gate on the left as you drive in which leads you straight across the meadow to the barn. Directions: When within Selborne village on the B3006 turn into the Selborne Arms Pub car park, head through their car park into ours, the barn is straight ahead as you enter our car park. Once on foot make sure to go to the barn or Field Studies Centre rather than the path that has “Gilbert White’s House and Gardens” sign overhead. Please enter your car registration at the device that is located in the barn lobby for free parking. We recommend you allow plenty of time to arrive at the venue and ensure you are parked correctly to avoid any unwanted fines. Overnight parking for guests in the Ewell Field car park is permitted. The field is locked overnight, and all vehicles must be collected by 12 noon of the following day.
Travel Note
We recommend booking a taxi for after the celebrations to avoid long waits. Taxis should be booked for between 11:15 and 11:30 PM.
