This is my oldest sister Damayanty. She’s someone I always looked up to. I’m grateful to her for always taking care of me when I was little, whether she liked it or not. She was always dancing which is how I got my love for dance. She has always been such a great teacher and was able to teach me math better than any math teacher I ever had. She is now married and has 4 beautiful children. Thanks for making me a Tia.

This is my sister Dominique that was born before me. Ever since I was little, I liked copying everything she wore and what she did but she didn’t like it very much. As we got older, we got to become better sisters and talk a lot more which I’m happy about. She’s super smart, caring & loving & I admire her. Especially with her gift of being a smart shopper. She’s always able to find the best deals for everything.

This is my friend Lindsey. I got to sing at her baptism when she became a member of my church. A couple years later is when we started hanging out & quickly she became one of my best friends & a part of my family. She’s such an amazing person & friend & I’m happy that she’s in my life. This girl is super caring and is always willing to hear me out and give me advice. I’m truly grateful for her friendship. She’s married & has 3 beautiful kids. I love getting to see her be a mom & wife!

This is my friend Melanie! I met her back in 2016 at church in Utah. We found out we lived at the same apartment complex & were both from California. The day we met, we ended up talking for 3 hours outside & found out we had a lot in common. She’s been a homie ever since. She’s someone who knows how to hype you up when you need it or tell you you’re being crazy. She’s getting her Master’s in teaching and will be graduating soon. I know she’s going to be an amazing teacher. Love this girl so much!

This is my friend Iris. I’ve known this girl since I was 9. We’ve had years of friendship. She’s someone who I’ve always been able to come to and talk with to hear me out, tell me I’m being crazy or to give me advice. She’s my dance partner & has always been my best friend. I haven’t always been the easiest person to handle but I’m grateful she’s never left & still chooses to be in my life. I love how she’s so good at doing lists and charts and being super organized because that’s definitely not a gift of mine.

Deandra’s brother. This is my oldest brother Jason. He is 10 years older than me so that meant he wasn’t around a lot. But enough for me to get a lot of my characteristics from him. I’m very sarcastic like him. He is a hard worker & a great leader. He cares a lot about his family & is always willing to help us out. I admire his work ethic & how knowledgeable he is about school & about life. He also gives good advice. I’m grateful to have him as my older brother!

Deandra’s brother. This is my second oldest brother. I had the opportunity to be around him a lot more. I get my love of video games from him. I love that he is very protective of me & our family. He is super loving, caring & such a softy even though to everyone else he seems tough. Josh is very funny. He always did/does make us laugh. I’ve got to learn a lot of life lessons from him. I’m grateful that he is my brother.

My older brother. I have always said I am glad I was born second. I got an older brother to make mistakes for me. But still I got to have a lot of power being older than most of my siblings. But seriously, all jokes aside. Miguel was a great older brother. Being two years my senior he was old enough to know life better than me, but still young enough to understand and feel where I was in life. He always gave good advice.

My younger brother, he was always looking up to his older brothers. Even when we did not deserve it. He always wanted to hangout and play with us. It was fun, and amazing, when we had things in common we could talk about. Although, he confuses me at times. 4 years is not a lot, but even though the timing puts him in a completely different life style from mine, he is still able to teach me things about how the younger generation sees things.

My twin brother, 1 minute younger. Though I am older, our dynamic has always been the opposite. He is more outgoing and talkative than me. He is a natural leader who always looked after me and protected me. He would take control and let me follow anytime I would get nervous or scared, even if he was. We never had much of a twin dynamic. You couldn’t find two siblings more complete opposites than us. But we have our fun moments, some even seemed like the fantastical twin telepathy from movies and books.
