It was a beautiful summer night in late July. My cousin Brooke and I went to a baseball game and after the game we ended up at a bar. When we walked in, I realized my phone was dying and I needed a charger. I asked everyone I saw for a charger, but unfortunately no-one carries chargers with them to the bar. Luckily one of the employers which happens to be Josh was working that night and had a charger. While my phone was charging, I got to talking to him that night and the rest was history.
On Wednesday's I usually have a half day of work, but on December 18th Josh and I were lucky enough to take the little girl I work for to her Hot Chocolate parade at school. I was so excited to show Josh around NYC after! We went for pizza, Bryant park, Rockefeller to see the tree, and a toy store. While we were in the toy store, I saw a police lego that I wanted Josh to stand in front of to take a picture. When glancing at the picture, there was a bunch of oracles and arrows pointing to his pocket so I blurted out, imagine if you were to propose to me the spirits are telling me there is a ring in your pocket. I laughed and Josh just looked confused, I thought nothing of it and we continued our journey to Central Park. When we finally got to Central Park, Josh and I decided to go ice skating. It was such a Hallmark moment. We went around the rink a couple times, listening to lovie dovie music, and then it started to snow, so of course I needed to take a picture of us. I asked some one skating near us to take a picture and Josh said can you take a video instead. I was very confused as to why Josh needed a video, but then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was in shock! I didn't believe this was happening. It was the perfect Hallmark proposal.
