We're Getting Married!

Josh and Cate met while attending college in Jacksonville Florida. It was 2014 and Josh was playing soccer for the school while Cate was focused on a degree in ministry. They talked as they passed in the halls but their friend groups never really crossed. Even in these short interactions, Josh new Cate was special. But he didn't realize how important she would be in the years to come. In 2015, Cate was planning to head south to work at a summer camp for a local church and was energetically campaigning for others to join her in this adventure. Of course, Cate’s powers of persuasion worked and she was able to recruit some friends....including Josh. Cate and her college friends who worked at the camp that summer grew exponentially closer, and it’s because of this that Josh and Cate stayed friends after the camp had ended. Every couple months or so they would spend days on the phone catching up about friends, what city they currently lived in, and reminiscing about how much fun they had at camp. Years passed and Josh stayed in Florida, but Cate had moved out west to Phoenix, Arizona. 2020 is when everything changed...Covid-19 and mandatory lockdowns forced Josh and Cate to work from home. Josh and Cate would spend their days of lockdown on FaceTime with each other and at the end of it, realized they had spent every day that summer on the phone. By this point it had been years since Josh had seen Cate, so he decided to make a trip out to Arizona. This was no longer just a simple trip but the beginning of something great. Josh had fallen in love with Arizona and better yet, his best friend. But how could he tell her? After some thought, he invited Cate to Florida to spend Thanksgiving with his family. During that trip, Cate realized her friendship with Josh had grown into something special and they couldn't imagine spending their future days apart... A week later Josh was landing at Sky Harbor and well... here they are
