What can I wear?

Answer

We kindly ask that you wear your Sunday best! We would prefer everyone wear cocktail (semi-formal) attire. Please avoid wearing white and dusty rose colors.

Hotel Accommodations

Answer

Hotel Covington is conveniently located right next to The Madison South, and room blocks are available. There are also several hotel options located in Covington and Newport as well. If you want to stay at Hotel Covington please mention the Snyder-Jones wedding to recieve a discount or look for our wedding discount code for the website.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking may be limited, but there is always parking at the hotel garage if you plan on staying there, and a pay parking lot right across from The Madison South. There is also street parking available as well.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know either on the RSVP or by phone if you have any restrictions or allergies. Our venue offers vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5:30pm and ask that you get there between 5:00 and 5:20pm. Cocktail hour will start right at 6:00 downstairs on the first floor in the Galleria room. Please be advised that if you will not be seated if after 5:30.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are not registered because we already have everything we need! If you are wanting to give a gift, we have a honeymoon fund set up as well! Or if a gift is what you would like to bring, that is fine!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

As much as we would love for you to bring a plus one, our venue only allows for a max number of people. We placed a lot of thought into the loved ones we want to be there, and if you do not have a plus one added on the invitation, we ask to please not bring anyone extra, unless you have spoken to the bride and groom.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! If you did not know, the brides birthday is the next day after the wedding! We would love for everyone to hang out in Covington after the reception ends, or get together with the newly weds the next morning before they jet off for their honeymoon. More details will come!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

With respect, and as much as we adore and love each of the littles, we have respectfully asked that this be an adult only occasion for parents to let down their hair! We have made accommodations for anyone 10 and above to be here, and will have them on the RSVP. The only children attending are the ones in the wedding. We truly hope that this advance notice means you are still able to share in our big day!
