Joshua and I met through my goddaddy—Uncle Will—at our church, and from the very beginning, it was clear that God’s hand was in it. I’ll be honest, I was very hesitant to start something new… so much so that I almost fainted right there at church! Thankfully, my cousin Deirdra stepped in and grabbed Josh’s number for me. Even then, I was nervous to reach out—but something (God!) told me to take a leap of faith, and I’m so grateful I did. Joshua is everything I prayed for in a husband and more. I am grateful Joshua listened to God when He spoke to him and revealed that I am his good thing—and that means the world to me. We are so excited to begin this God-centered journey of marriage and life together. Thank you for being part of our love story, our support system, and our celebration.
