The closest airport to Roanoke. It can be on the expensive side, being a smaller airport, but depending on timing, prices can drop lower.

Dulles International Airport (IAD)

The major airport we typically use coming in and out of Roanoke. It would require renting a car and driving (about 4hrs), or taking the Amtrak from Union Station in DC (about 5hrs).

Amtrak: Northeast Regional

The line picks up at Union Station in DC (WAS) and ends in the heart of downtown Roanoke (RNK).
