Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

April 12th is the deadline. If you don’t have your RSVP in by that point or we haven’t hunted you down, please reach out to Josh or Amy to figure out what’s going on! Could be you were never invited. Could be that we messed up when setting up the guest list. Either way, if you didn’t RSVP properly, you’re still invited, you just might have to sit outside for dinner 🙃.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

For this little shin-dig of ours, we would like for the attire to be semi-formal/dressy casual attire. Women can wear below-the-knee dresses, slip dresses, a dressy skirt and top, or an elegant pantsuit (styled with heels, nice wedges, or formal flats). As for men, opt for a dress shirt and slacks, with the option to wear a tie.

Question

Will there be transportation provided to and from the venue?

Answer

We unfortunately will not be providing transportation to and from the venue.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

Great question! There is a parking lot conveniently right outside the venue.

Question

Is the ceremony/reception inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside (provided the weather is acceptable), so consider wearing some sunscreen if you need to! The cocktail hour and reception will take place inside with full access to the outdoors of the vicinity.

Question

What time does the ceremony start? When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5PM EST, so please look to arrive around/after 4:30PM to ensure you get a good seat!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony/reception?

Answer

We will have a designated photographer/makeshift videographer. If you really feel like you need a picture of us or our pups walking down the aisle, feel free to do so. Please note though, if you’re in the way of a beautiful shot, our photographer has full authority to tackle you out of her way ☺️.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, we ask our guests to please enjoy a drink and a snack on us during cocktail hour! The bride and groom will be taking family photos during this time and will also be performing a tea ceremony to respect the bride’s culture in joining the two families together! Once that’s done, the bride and groom will rejoin the guests and get the party started!

Question

What time does the reception start?

Answer

Reception starts at 7PM EST. So if you need to leave to take care of something, please feel free to do so! Just make sure you’re back in time to enjoy the festivities!

Question

Will there be an Open Bar?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. It will be a Cash Bar. However, nonalcoholic beverages are free-of-charge! We will be providing water, lemonade, iced tea, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and Dr. Pepper!

Question

Will there be gluten free and/or dairy free options?

Answer

Our menu is Asian-themed and should have some options for both dairy-free and gluten-free consumers.

Question

Is smoking/vaping allowed?

Answer

Smoking/vaping is only permitted outside the venue and in the designated smoking area. These activities are not permitted inside the venue and must be done 8ft away from the building. Please also keep in mind that there will be kiddos, so if you can help it, please smoke/vape at minimal levels if the temptations are knockin’ at your door!

Question

Got another question that's not listed?

Answer

Please feel free to reach out to either Josh or Amy and they'll happily get back to you and answer to the best of their ability :).
