We're getting married!

We were set up by a mutual friend in the spring of 2019! Our first date was at Pauley's Crepe Bar in downtown Athens. One of my sorority sisters happened to be there and took spy shots of us laughing. I definitely should have saved those!

After just a couple dates, summer came around, and I had to go back to my hometown of Peachtree Corners. In that time, Josh would drive an hour and a half to take me out for dinner, just to drive an hour and a half back to Athens! He did this many times that summer. When I came back to Athens, we kept going on dates until I finally asked Josh if he was interested in a relationship. He thought we were already dating! Our anniversary, August 30th, is the date of that conversation.

Josh took me to St. Thomas on an unforgettable adventure. We hiked in the most stunning national park, went off-roading in a Jeep, chartered a boat, swam with sea turtles, saw bioluminescence for the first time, and made great friends. On Friday, we were taking a walk on Magens Bay Beach, where my grandparents went on their honeymoon, and he got down on one knee. It was so well thought out and intimate. We can't wait to begin our lives together and celebrate our love with the people who mean the most to us! Thank you for being a part of our lives and for just being the most supportive and loving group of people. We love you and cannot wait to celebrate with you!
