We met when a mutual friends of ours decided that we might make a cute couple...or they were like come on Josh you need some serious help with the whole dating thing. Derek and Thea knew both of us liked animals and they knew I had an unhealthy obsession with dachshunds and Alisia had a dachshund so there might be a connection. Thea and Derek set up a double date with us so we could meet and get to know each other. We were supposed to go to the Junction in Elk Mound but when I arrived they were closed. Then a cute girl pulled up to the restaurant and checked the door. Oh did I mention it was raining and a little chilly? Well our friends were running a little behind so I asked Alisia if she wanted to get in my car and chat out of the rain and she got into this person's car that she had never met. We talked for about half an hour before a new restaurant was chosen for the date. We ended up eating at a local Mexican restaurant where Alisia had a vegetarian burrito and I have no idea what I ate. I may have been distracted but nobody can prove that now. After dinner Alisia wanted the flan but they were out so she had peach cobbler and I decided I'd get the cheesecake and we shared the desserts. Since then we have had many more twists and turns in the adventure we are sharing and hope that you can enjoy this adventure with us!
