The Smiths 2025

We met because of Emily, my softball teammate at Sierra College. Over the two years we played together, she became one of my best friends. She and I grew very close, and one day she randomly asked me if I wanted to meet her brother. Although I thought it was strange, like maybe I was crossing a boundary I shouldn't, I decided to meet Josh at a Foresthill bonfire in January 2018. We had a great time meeting each other. However, due to lack of cell phone service, our attempts at Snapchat friend requests never went through. A couple months later, I was FaceTiming Emily about some homework when I heard Josh's voice in the background of the call. That's when I decided to boldly call Josh out for never adding me on Snapchat. He added me right then and there. Months went by without Josh and I talking, but Emily and I remained friends. Later that year in August, I randomly decided to stop at the Smith's house to check out Foresthill and stop to say hi to Emily. During my time there, Josh, Hannah Borbe, and I decided to chase chicken in the backyard because we wanted to see if they could float in the pool. Although we had fun, we failed. No chickens were harmed in the process. Later that night, after returning home, I received a Snapchat notification from Josh. He wanted to see me again. I remember running into my mom's room late at night squealing in excitement. I couldn't contain my joy! Josh and I have been together ever since, and we are so excited to be celebrating this time with all of you! Here come the Smiths! :)
