On Secret Beach as the sun rose and the monk seals laid 100 feet from us, I had planned some professional photos in Hawaii to remember the trip. Little did I know, Josh had other plans. After a beautiful photo shoot, Josh surprised both the photographer and I by saying, “Just a few more photos”, getting on one knee and popping the question. It was beyond beautiful and I couldn’t have pictured the proposal being any more perfect.

One night while out to dinner in Clayton, NC, a friend of mine wanted to introduce me to some friends of theirs who were playing pool. We found out that we all worked on the same 4000 person job. For a while we all just enjoyed hanging out as one big friend group, until eventually, our friendship just became something more. We eventually tried to work in separate locations and when it became more expensive to travel every weekend to see each other, we decided to move in together. Little did he know, he would be stuck with me for the rest of forever….. and neither of us would have it any other way. <3
