Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please try to arrive 15-20 minutes before the ceremony begins, so that everyone is seated and everything is ready to go. The grandparents and parents will have their entrance at 2:50pm. We will probably close the doors leading into the sanctuary at 2:45pm, so that no one coming in will interrupt the ceremony. If something comes up, and you’re a little late. There is a balcony in the sanctuary that you can access in the front lobby of the church through the front doors.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the church. When you arrive, you will see parking on the left side of the church (when you’re facing the church), behind the church and parallel parking in front of the church. As for the reception, please carpool to the reception as much as possible since there is limited parking at the gym. Guests may park in the grassy area to the right side of the gym & at the Pine Grove church parking lot. You are also welcome to walk there if you are able to.

What will the reception look like?

Answer

Our reception will be a shorter one! We will have the first dances (bride/groom, mother/son, father/daughter), a sit down dinner with wedding cake to follow & a send off at 7pm!

What if I can’t come, but I don’t want to miss it?

Answer

Our wedding will be live-streamed on Turbeville Southern Methodist Church’s YouTube page if you are not able to make it!
