Children are absolutely welcome! Since the celebration will continue into the evening, some families may prefer to make it a date night, but we’re happy to celebrate with your little ones if they join. Our home is in a wooded setting, so we recommend keeping an eye on kiddos as the evening goes on.
Our dress code is Festive Autumn Cocktail Attire. The celebration will take place outdoors in our wooded backyard setting, so we recommend choosing something that feels polished but comfortable. Block heels, wedges, stylish flats, sandals, or dressy boots are great choices since we’ll be on grass and a slight hill. Autumn and jewel tones will look beautiful in the forest setting, and layers are always a good idea as the evening may cool down.
To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!
Guests are welcome to arrive beginning at 5:30 PM to allow time for parking, the shuttle ride up the driveway, and a drink before the ceremony. We’ll begin inviting guests to take their seats around 6:00 PM, and the ceremony will start at 6:15 PM.
Parking will be available around the cul-de-sac near our home. Because our driveway is steep, guests will park below and a shuttle will bring everyone up to the ceremony and reception area. If possible, we encourage carpooling. Rideshare services such as Uber can reach our home, but since we’re in a more rural wooded area, return rides may take a little longer to arrive. If you plan to use rideshare, we recommend scheduling your pickup about 20–30 minutes before you plan to leave.
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer capturing the moment so everyone can relax and be fully present with us. Once the ceremony concludes, feel free to snap photos and enjoy the celebration!
If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please let us know when you RSVP or reach out ahead of the wedding. While we may not be able to accommodate every request individually, we’ll do our best to make sure there are options available for everyone to enjoy.
Yes! We will have a selection of beer, seltzers, cocktails, and non alcoholic beverages for our guests to enjoy for the evening. Our bartenders are licensed, so please bring a valid form of ID if you plan to drink. We’ve also taken care of the bartender gratuity, but if you’d like to leave an extra cash tip it will always be appreciated.
Cell service can be spotty as you get closer to our home. GPS directions should still work, but we recommend reviewing the parking and arrival details before you head out.
The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors in our backyard. We’ll have lighting and cozy spaces set up, but bringing a light layer is a good idea as the evening may cool down.
The formal festivities will wrap up around 10:00 PM, but guests are welcome to stay and relax a little longer if they’d like. We’re looking forward to a cozy evening of good food, drinks, and time together.
