Christina and Kara have spent hours picking out books at Barnes, searching for seaglass at Tower Rd. Beach, exploring countless countries and new places, sharing sushi and just generally eating and laughing constantly. Christina can't imagine life without her talented, weird, loving, and bossy bff of nearly 14 years, and can't wait for Kara to stand by her side on the big day!
Patrick Wilson

After spending many hours with the Kurtz brothers, Patrick quickly realized that Josh was the superior Kurtz sibling (sorry Jake). Josh and Patrick started to play doubles tennis together and spent way too many hours playing ping pong. After both attending UM (Go Blue) and living together, Josh and Patrick only grew closer (and weirder). Patrick has always been a kind, thoughtful, and generous friend and Josh couldn’t ask for a better best mate.

Jourdin and Josh first became close friends when they planned the Second Look Weekend for admitted UM medical students. They have since spent countless hours together studying to what feels like death; all the while Jourdin has taught Josh to appreciate the important things in life like Kombucha, lattes, and inappropriate secret handshakes. Jourdin has been a great friend to Josh throughout medical school and he is so excited for her to be in his party!

Sydney and Christina fought over a boy in 2nd grade, and the rest is history. From playing hide-and-seek in the dark in Sydney's basement growing up, through middle school ups and downs, to intense philosophical discussions over wine or margaritas and catch up phone calls twenty years later, Sydney has been with Christina every step of the way - including wedding day!

We all have that one friend that we can just be weird with and for Josh that friend is Michael. Between having their regular greeting be a belly bump and drawing pictures of their professors being crushed by different objects, Josh and Michael’s friendship isn’t what you would exactly call normal. In addition to the weirdness, Josh deeply appreciates the consistent friend, roommate, and grammarian that Michael has been to him throughout medical school and can’t wait to spend this day with him!

Haley once asked the new girl in Mrs. Steiner's first grade class if she wanted to play, and later became the sister that Christina never had but always wanted. Whether repelling from the second floor of Christina's house when they were 6 (surprise, mom and dad!), going on nighttime driving adventures or surviving middle school and high school together, Christina and Haley have supported each other through many life moments in their 20+ years. Christina can't wait for her sister to stand with her on the big day!

Josh will always remember how, upon first meeting Max on a double date prior to starting medical school together, Max refused to go to a vegetarian restaurant because he is a self-proclaimed “carnivore.” Josh has never met someone who has spent so many hours using the “random page” function on Wikipedia, yet is also incredibly caring, selfless, and fun. Josh considers himself very lucky to have Max as one of his close friends.

Despite the fact that Kathryn sometimes "beats" Christina (*cough* cheats *cough*) at board games, Christina still feels pretty lucky to call her family. Whether they are climbing Mount Pilatus, caving in the Dolomites, watching Jep, or channeling Joanna Gaines, Christina is constantly inspired by her SIL's strength and infectious warmth, her commitment to others and to her values, and her ability to put up with Christina's brother, Alex.

Josh will never forget how Alex, Christina’s older brother, upon finding out that his only baby sister was dating some new kid, immediately did an extensive google background search on him and declared that he was a “drug mule” based off of his travel history to Jamaica. Despite this questionable start to their friendship, Alex has been a reliable and important source of guidance to Josh and Christina. Josh can’t wait to add another brother to his family!

Christina is pretty grateful that Kari pestered Josh constantly about when he was going to pop the question, and that Kari is just as obsessed about her pets (she's a Vet, after all) as Christina and Josh are about their cat Olive. Christina always looks forward to spending time with Kari and the trips over the holidays at the Kurtz house, and can't wait for her to officially be her seaster-in-law!
Sean Paquet

Sean and Josh first met when they were toddlers, growing up in the same neighborhood. They eventually went on to attend the same elementary, middle, high school and college and spent an unhealthy number of hours playing video games, shooting airsoft guns, and again playing ping pong. From diapers to down the aisle, Josh and Sean have remained close friends.
Faith Kurtz

The oldest of the Kurtz triplets, Faith sometimes has an unhealthy obsession with One Direction/Harry Styles. Despite this, Christina is constantly in awe of Faith's enthusiasm at jumping in Torch Lake to find/grab cray fish, her talent at tennis and cheerleading, and her constant and hilarious sassiness. Christina is so excited to share this special day with Faith and to be her seaster-in-law!
Apoorv Dhir

Josh recruited Apoorv to be his friend primarily because he was hoping Apoorv would one day become a famous Broadway singer or model. Despite that not quite panning out for Apoorv, it turns out that Apoorv is actually a great friend too! Josh and Apoorv are often judged by their other friends for their “immature” jokes, but they have a deep appreciation for the concept of relative maturity. Despite his goofiness, Apoorv is exceptionally kind-hearted and Josh is very happy to share his wedding day with him!
Hope Kurtz

Christina will never forget Hope's reaction to seeing a train go by in Ann Arbor, and is constantly struck by Hope's maturity and thoughtfulness and her witty and sassy sense of humor. Whether going on spontaneous swims or adventure sledding, getting nerdy about books or playing video games and board games for hours, Christina always looks forward to spending time with Hope and her sisters, and can't wait for many more memories as seasters-in-law!

Jake is Josh’s best (and only) younger brother. Although Jake may claim that his older brothers “ganged up on him” when he was younger, Josh was of course toughening him up for the real world. And now that Jake is officially a rocket scientist, I guess all Jake can say is “Thank you?” Josh's and Jake’s senses of humor are perhaps too similar and Josh loves spending time with Jake over the holidays laughing hysterically at “stupid” things, subsequently annoying other people, namely Christina. Josh can’t wait to share this special day with his younger brother!

The baby of the Kurtz clan, Grace is also the kindest and most thoughtful, is incredibly talented, and always makes Christina laugh - whether they are painting for hours together, losing at corn hole, boating on Torch Lake in the rain, sledding stacked like pancakes, or watching movies until 2am. Christina is so excited for her future seaster-in-law to be part of this special day!

Joey is Josh’s best (and only) older brother. Although Josh still remembers Joey denying him membership to Joey’s coveted “team” as a kid and how Joey would whack Josh’s croquet ball away mid-game blaming it on a “mysterious force,” he has since mostly forgiven him. Joey has always been someone that Josh has looked up to and he is very excited to share this special day with his older brother.
