Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Private Parking lot with Waterfront Construction, this is only available for guests to use during the evenings and weekends. The lot has up to 17 spots and there is plenty of street parking in the area as well. Lyft/Uber accessible.

Does the boat move?

Answer

The MV Skansonia stays permanently docked on Lake Union. She has been out of commission for many years and enjoys her retirement permanently docked on Lake Union enjoying the beautiful Seattle skyline!

What happens if it rains?

Answer

We do have a rain back up plan (it is Seattle after all!) Incase of rain we can move the ceremony inside on the cocktail hour/dance floor side of the boat. We can usually make this call 3 hours prior to guest arrival so we have enough time to set up the chairs. There is heat inside as well.

Where should we stay? Where do you live?

Answer

Josh and Samantha and their families all live 30 minutes North of Seattle in Bothell, Washington. Our venue is located in in the Wallingford and University District neighborhood in Seattle.
