Things To Do

Both the bride and groom are proud to call the Philadelphia area their home. Megan grew up on the border of Malvern and West Chester, and Josh grew up in Horsham. Between the suburbs and the city, here are a few of their favorite places. This list is in the following order: Parks/Gardens Museums Beverages Food

Ridley Creek State Park Entrance

339 Gradyville Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342

Megan went to this park with friends frequently in high school for hiking and nature walks. Josh proposed in the gardens of the park's mansion. You can get to the mansion by putting these coordinates into your GPS: +39.9508, -75.4517.

Longwood Gardens

1001 Longwood Road, Kennett Square, PA 19348

Schuylkill River Trail

Schuylkill River Trail, Philadelphia, PA

This is a nice trail along the river for walking or biking. We'd recommend accessing it from the lot near Boathouse Row. If you head southeast from Boathouse Row you'll get a great view of a few of the city's famous buildings. You can rent a bike in front of Lloyd Hall or from one of the many Indego stations around the city.

Philadelphia's Magic Gardens

Mosaic gardens on Philadelphia's South Street.

Barnes Foundation

Wonderful museum to see impressionist, post-impressionist & modern art.

Philadelphia Museum of Art

2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19130

Penn Museum

3260 South Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104

Please check hours/opening as our wedding is the same weekend as the Penn undergraduate commencement!

208 Carter Drive, West Chester, PA 19382

This tucked-away brewery is one of the spots we went to on our first date!

Don't sleep on the soft serve ice cream here.
