We like to think of our love story as a never-ending sleepover. We’d only been dating five months, and then BAM, the pandemic hit and lockdowns began. The last thing we wanted was to be apart, so we decided we’d ride it out together at Josh’s. Jenna arrived with nothing but her laptop and a small bag of clothes. We had no idea how long this would last, but it just felt right. We had the best time together - taking long walks, sipping wine, cracking each other up (constantly), sharing our favorite music and movies, making silly videos, and eventually falling in love. What began as a few days stretched into weeks, then months, and then years. It was a sleepover that we never wanted to end, so we decided it never would. ♡

It was our first international trip together - Italy! - and Jenna was completely unaware of the big surprise Josh had in store. He'd secretly packed her grandmother's wedding ring, all set for a proposal. We were hiking along the coast of Cinque Terre and stumbled upon a breathtaking sunset over the ocean. As we stopped to take it in, Jenna heard Josh rummaging through his bag behind her. She turned around and there he was, down on one knee, marking the moment our lives changed forever.
