Man of Honor
Who better to stand by side by the bride than the one who has been there since birth?! Sean is my big brother and first friend. We were military brats who did not get the luxury of growing up with a group of people so we were each other's people. That being said he should make a pretty good MOH, we won't punish him for not being a girl, although he does look good in a dress.
Best Woman
Rachele is the big sister I was meant to have. Nothing can beat the memories of sitting in her kitchen after a night out while she cooks some kind of amazing food. She's always been there for me and I consider her family my family. There was no one better to be my "best man" than the best friend a guy could ask for.
Bridesmaid
It all started freshman year of college in White Hall at JMU..... as randomly assigned suite mates. We did not have the easiest of beginnings but once we got close our friendship has been effortless ever since and we have had so many crazy, wonderful memories. Now we are mothers and I hate to say it, functioning adults, but you will always be my KelBel and I will always be your Wiggy.
Groomsman
Sean and I bonded over our love of dogs, cigars, liquor, and generally just having so much fun we almost die from laughing. It's rare to just instantly click with someone so much and so well. Even though he's moved away to New Hampshire (jerk) we still stay close and I know there's many more nights playing old N64 games in our futures.
Bridesmaid
We met at JMU through a mutual friend and somehow through all of the big life moves we have still managed to hold onto each other! She is the friend who inspires you but also does a great job of keeping you grounded. Also, you know it is the real deal when she washes your dirty feet in your other friend's kitchen sink!
Groomsman
Johnny and I met when he ran up to me in World of Warcraft and went "Hey so why are you a Fury Warrior?" We've been friends ever since and always make sure to visit each other whenever possible. Even though travel has gotten harder there are few men I love and respect more than this guy from across the country.
Bridesmaid
She was my next door neighbor sophomore year of college and somehow we just clicked, even though we are such different people. She quickly went from the girl next door who always wanted to "borrow" a roll of toilet paper to one of my best friends. We always have the best laughs no matter what we are doing or where we are and lord knows I love me some hurricane Krista!
Groomsman
Housos and I met when he tried to get me to share the attention of girls I was talking to in FTAC. Not too long after we maneuvered to get permission to have him replace my suite mate in the dorms and we proceeded to spend almost every waking moment together for years. There aren't many people I can honestly say I loved spending THAT much time with. The guy's a brother.
Bridesmaid
We met in high school and became friends in the oddest way. We both had taken Yearbook class but did not have ANYONE to talk to (which would have made for an uncomfortable year to say the least). However that quickly changed after I saw her alone too and was like "Hey wanna be my friend?". The rest is history. She became my Emkul and hell or high water we will be friends to the end.
Groomsman
I knew Mike for a while before I think I'd say we became friends. It wasn't really until our "couples retreat" that our significant others realized letting us hang out might be a bad idea. Many bad jokes, many hours spent loudly in a hot tub, a few horrendous accents and he quickly became a great friend. Now we speak almost every day to the point that Lindsay has stopped asking who is blowing up my phone.
Bridesmaid
We met through a mutual group of friends in our hometown and she quickly became like the little sister that I never had and bonus, way less annoying! Whether it be going out dancing, laying around my living room like sloths, or trying to find waterfalls I always have a great time with my Suzie Q.
Groomsman
I met Eric when he first arrived at Langley just because I happened to be on loan to the circuit shop at the time. He's one of the funniest, most genuine, and most full of life people I've ever met. He's just an absolute joy to be around. When he asked me to be his best man I couldn't have been more honored or more happy to return the favor by asking him to be one of my groomsmen.
