Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside rain or shine at Lightning Lake on a grass field. Please dress accordingly, and be kind to the marmots! The reception will be held indoors with an optional outdoor covered patio space at the Alpine Room at Manning Park Resort.

Is there a dress code?

Our wedding is semi-formal.

Will there be any dietary options for those with dietary restrictions?

Answer

If you are vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, or have a food allergy or other dietary restriction, please specify in your RSVP or contact us directly.

What is there to do nearby?

Answer

There are lots of nearby walking and hiking trails throughout Manning Park, and Lightning Lake is nearby with kayak, paddleboard, and canoe rentals. There is a restaurant and gift shop at the resort. The resort offers all guests (including both cabins and lodge guests) access to the 'Loon Lagoon' facilities, which includes an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and exercise rooms. What should I do if unable to make it?

We wish you all could be there to celebrate but know that life happens! Please let us know through the RSVP page or contact one of us directly as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Is parking available?

Answer

There's plenty of available parking throughout the Manning Park Resort - near the lodge, near the cabins, and near the restaurant/reception space.

Am I allowed a plus-one or my kids?

Answer

Unfortunately due to space capacity of our indoor reception venue, we ask our guests not to bring a plus one or their kids unless they are specifically named on the invitation. If you have any further questions, please contact us directly.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is gift enough to us! However, if you wish to provide us a gift beyond this, we'd greatly appreciate a contribution to our honeymoon fund. 🫶 Alternatively, if you would like to give us a physical gift, please see our registry page!
