Is the wedding themed?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding is inspired by one of our favorite games, Dungeons & Dragons. There will also be subtle hints of other games we like to play.

Do I have to dress in a costume?

Answer

No! Formal or semi-formal attire is perfect. Renaissance or fantasy-inspired outfits are welcome for those who would like to lean into the theme.

What does "renaissance or fantasy inspired" mean?

Answer

Think flowing fabrics, cloaks, corsets, vests, boots, or medieval-style elegance.

Is the ceremony inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside in gardens where there will be flowers. The reception will be inside at a different location than the ceremony.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Answer

We have a backup plan in place and will keep everyone informed.

ABSOLUTELY! We'd like to have your entire family enjoy our celebration!

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available on site at the Nicholas Conservatory. There is also handicap parking available. Parking is also available at Mary's Market. Park on the northwest side of the building as there is a private entrance for the reception. Handicap parking is also available.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, you can take photos during the ceremony but just be courteous of the professional photographer and others. When posting photos or videos, please use our hashtag #wedquest26

Do I need to know anything about Dungeons and Dragons for the wedding?

Answer

All you need to know is that when we roll a 20 sided die, the higher the number the better (typically).

Will there be vegetarian options at the reception?

Answer

Yes, I have arranged a vegetarian option. Please note any food allergies when you RSVP.
