WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

While Tatum and Josh had known each other for many years prior, it wasn’t until their brothers graduated in May 2018 that their love story began. Josh remembers seeing Tatum at the graduation ceremony and praying that she would be attending his brother’s grad party the next day so he could talk to her. His prayers were answered and Josh spent that night nervously trying to impress her through casual conversation and his best rendition of the cha-cha slide. Josh wishes he could say Tatum and him started dating that night, but truthfully, neither one of them were ready. Josh spent the next year and a half trying to get Tatum’s attention, but she was finishing up school at NAU and not looking to settle down. It wasn't until the COVID shutdown in March 2020 when they finally hung out. Given that their first date was during lockdown, the date consisted of making grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup and watching The Other Guys. By their second date, Tatum and Josh both knew that they had something special. Fast forward to November 2021, Tatum and Josh bought a house in Scottsdale, Arizona! They spent the holidays buying furniture, decorating, and making it feel like home. The holidays took a slight turn for the worst when Tatum tested positive for Covid a few days before Christmas. Not only did they need to rethink their holiday plans, but Tatum also put a temporary pause on Josh's surprise proposal that was supposed to take place on December 23rd. After the holidays passed, Josh was trying to think of a new idea on how to surprise Tatum. The new proposal was set to take place on January 15th, 2022. That morning, the couple joined Josh's parents for brunch. While at brunch, Josh's siblings and friend, Trent, "snuck" into the couple's home and decorated their house with candles, roses, and pictures of Tatum and Josh throughout their relationship. When Tatum walked into their house after brunch, she was very surprised to see all the decorations set up. Before she knew it, Josh was down on one knee and asking her to marry him. That evening, Tatum and Josh were able to celebrate with their family before diving into wedding planning. Over the past few months, Tatum and Josh have been very busy between wedding planning, work, and expanding their family. In June of 2022, Tatum and Josh brought home a golden retriever named Bridges, named after their favorite Suns player. Now that you are all caught up - Tatum and Josh are so excited to celebrate with everyone in May!
