Are kids welcome?

Answer

No. While we understand this may give you an extra layer of planning for the big weekend, we hope it is not a huge obstacle for you to celebrate with us. But let's be honest with ourselves, a weekend with an open-bar and no kids... you're welcome.

Question

What are the best options for hotel accommodations?

Answer

Please click on the "Travel" option to book your hotel. We have two discounted options in Bennington, VT. We also have limited rooms available at the house on-site. Please note the on-site rooms have shared bathrooms, but are available at a greatly discounted price.

What's the best way to get to and from the wedding ceremony/reception from the hotels?

Answer

We will have a shuttle service running to and from the hotels the day of the wedding. Since the venue is a 25-30 minute drive from the hotels we wanted to make sure everyone had a responsible means of getting home. The shuttle will be leaving from the Best Western at 3:00pm sharp, and the Hampton Inn at 3:10pm sharp. Return shuttle service will be leaving approximately 10:15pm to bring guests back to the hotels. An announcement will be made by the DJ.

Do I have to stay at the hotel options provided?

Answer

You do not. Feel free to go rogue and book your own hotel/B&B. We do, however, ask you to consider booking the two hotel options as it will keep everyone close, and provide a worry-free means of transportation home. We also need to fulfill 90% of the booked rooms otherwise we must pay the difference.... pity us!
