Josh and SM’s story began in the summer of 2022 after their senior year of high school. What started as casual conversations quickly turned into something more, though neither of them knew just how special their story would become. Over the next few years, Josh and SM went through many different seasons together. From phases of dating to navigating long distance while SM was at the University of Alabama and Josh was at Auburn University, their relationship was anything but ordinary. Before they even went off to college, they made the difficult decision not to officially date until they had adjusted to long-distance college life in different cities. But as God would have it, their story was far from over. Over Labor Day weekend, during a trip to the lake, one of their favorite places, Josh asked SM to be his girlfriend on September 4th, 2022. That same spot would become even more special when, surrounded by the people they love, Josh asked SM to spend forever with him. Through every high and low, one thing has remained steady: the Lord’s presence and faithfulness in their relationship. Josh and SM are endlessly grateful for the story God is writing for them and cannot wait to become husband and wife. As they step into this new chapter, they humbly ask for your prayers, encouragement, and love as they begin their life together.
