Question

Is Chicago really as cold as people say?

Answer

Chicago winters are no joke! Cold temps and wind are likely, so dress warmly and give yourself extra time to travel. Once you're inside, you'll warm up quickly—especially with hot drinks from our coffee cart waiting for you!

Question

Will there be parking?

Answer

Free street parking is available near both the church and the reception venue. While spots aren’t reserved, there’s typically availability nearby if you arrive with a little time to spare. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are also great options, and both venues are accessible by public transit!

Question

What’s the best way to get from the ceremony to the reception? (If I don't have a car)

Answer

There are several convenient transportation options available. Uber and Lyft are easy to access, and public transit is also nearby—including the CTA Brown and Red Lines, as well as multiple Chicago bus routes.

Question

Can I bring a plus one/children?

Answer

We kindly ask that only those specifically named on your invitation attend. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests or children unless explicitly stated.

Question

What should I do between ceremony and reception?

Answer

Right after the ceremony, we’d love to make sure we say hi, so feel free to stick around the church for a few minutes. Cocktail hour kicks off at 3 PM at the Roastery with some great coffee. If you want to swing by your hotel or check out a nearby spot before then, there’s plenty of time to do that too!

Question

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

Please note: This is a strictly alcohol-free event. Thank you for respecting this guideline.
