We met at Publix back in 2015, when at first we were only friends. Josh made several attempts to ask me out. His persistence won out, and I finally said yes. It quickly turned into a special romance! The more time we spent together, the more we realized that we were meant for each other. We share so many similarities and at the same time we balance each other out. There are so many shared interests- our love of travel, pets, family and friends....it was meant to be. Josh gave me a special doll that was reminiscent of my childhood which proved his love for me. It was from that moment on that we knew our love was special, and we knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together.

Josh took me to Disney World for our second year dating anniversary, It was Disney's holiday season and the entire property had a beautiful winter theme. I thought it was a very nice anniversary gift, but little did I know he had something else planned. Going through security Josh was pulled over because he had something in his pocket but he had me fooled saying it was just keys. Right before we took the pictures in front of the lit up castle, he looked at me in the eyes and said "Shayna I just want to say, these past two years have been the best years of my life and you truly showed me what true love is and how beautiful and amazing it is. Now more than ever I know I want you for the rest of my life". He then got down on one knee asked "Shayna Malyn Midulla will you marry me"? I of course said yes while choking back my tears.
