Gwen and I met in college and have been inseparable ever since. She is my best friend and has been there since the beginning of my relationship with Josh. It has been the biggest blessing experiencing different seasons of life with my "iron sharpens iron" friend. Our hobbies include catching sand crabs, laughing so hard we squeak, and eating Korean barbecue, sushi, Thai, and chic-fil-a. Gwen is someone who always points me to Christ and someone who loves and encourages others so well.

Tim has been my best friend for five years. We met in college, then he moved away for a while. But I convinced him to move back to San Diego and now we've been roommates for two years. He's known for a very long time that he would be my best man and he's been a great friend to Sarah and me for our whole relationship.
Jonnie Cabrales

Jonnie and I were roommates our senior year of college and who would have known that our conversations and laughs in B109 would lead to a beautiful friendship for a lifetime. Jonnie is someone who has empowered me and spoken into my life many times. My favorite memories with her are karaoke nights in our apartment, singing in the car on the way to the beach, and late night conversations when we should have been doing our homework.

Danny was in the Honors Program with Sarah and me all four years of college. He has always been a good friend to both of us and was very supportive of our relationship. Now, Danny is one of my roommates and we work together at Shadow Mountain's College Ministry. He's an extremely encouraging dude and I'm stoked to have him in my wedding party.

Paige and I very quickly became friends after sharing a few classes together. We have had many laughs and deep conversations, especially when we lived on campus. She is a faithful friend who listens intently and her words of affirmation are like honey to the soul. Over the years we have bonded over our favorite band, Twenty One Pilots, our favorite sushi place, Takka Sushi, and we love over-quoting the things that make us crack up.

During senior year of college, Dylan and I were voted Bromance of the Year. We have been working together at Shadow Mountain for a few years and are always down for crazy projects. Dylan and I are complete opposites, which I love because we balance each other out.
Samantha Bennett

Samantha is my younger sister and she currently attends Grand Canyon University. We have shared a room together almost our entire lives, and since I moved home after college and she comes home for vacation, our time together has gotten sweeter. I am thankful for the wisdom and advice she gives me even though she is younger than me. I love our laughs, our competitiveness in any board game, and how she bakes cookies way better than me.

My younger brother who is way too much like me, David is someone who's been a big part of my life. I am grateful for the amount we have been able to connect since we've grown up. I am very proud of him and so glad to include him as a groomsman.

Abri and I worked in Admissions at our school but it wasn't until we were Resident Assistants that we became really close friends. I love how intentional and hospitable she is. Whether she was staying up late with me on-call or giving me wedding advice, Abri is a service-minded person and this is evident in how she loves people. It was such a blessing to be in the season of engagement with her and now she is married to the love of her life, Mijah!

Jeff is one of my roommates and we've been friends since day one of college. We connected super well because of how similar we are and how much we have in common. We have super similar tastes in music, movies, books, video games, and music (I'm still working on him on that last one).

My friendship with Lizzy was the most unexpected blessing! I met her through other friends, and then after a girls trip to Palm Springs, I knew I had to get to know her better. Our friendship continued to grow and now she is someone I can always go to. Lizzy is a supportive friend who carries a warm, inviting presence wherever she goes. I love that one minute we are having a conversation about life, and the next minute we are laughing or dancing.

Unlike all of my other groomsman, Reagan and I didn't become friends until after college when we became roommates. He's the only one in our house who is more theologically and philosophically minded than I am. This sparks lots of late night debates where we drive everyone else crazy.
