The Menil is an expansive campus with multiple exhibits. It has an extensive collection of surrealist art, alongside a dedicated building for Cy Twombly pieces. The campus is also incredibly walkable, with lots of parks to lounge around in.

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston

1001 Bissonnet Street, Houston, TX 77005

Houston's largest art museum with multiple exhibits and campuses. The Kinder building is a personal favorite, showcasing both international contemporary and modern collections. It also has a great, casual cafe (Cafe Leonelli) located within the Kinder Building.

Known for its extensive collections - Morian Hall of Paleontology, Hall of Ancient Egypt, Burke Baker Planetarium, and my favorite, the Cullen Hall of Gems and Minerals.
