FAQs

The Wedding Website of Rebecca Keane and Joshua Cummings
Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is Tropical Chic aka beach/summer semi-formal. Women should wear below-the-knee flowy dresses, long sundresses, bright colors, tropical prints, breathable fabrics. Men should wear linens, slacks, lightweight suits, but no coats/ jackets required. No jeans or shorts.

Question

Are children welcome at the wedding?

Answer

While we love to see the little ones hit the dance floor, we hope that you understand that this is an adults only wedding. We totally understand that you may choose to make this a family trip to Hawaii, but please take this as an opportunity for a fun night out!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would love for you to contemplate taking a wonderful Hawaiian vacation up until a month before, but we (in the kindest way possible) request that you RSVP by December 1, 2025. We want to maximize the experience for our guests who are able to make it!

Question

Can I bring a date to the wedding?

Answer

We would like this to be an intimate celebration with our closest friends and family, so we ask that only people formally invited on your wedding invitation attend the wedding.

Question

What time should we arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:30pm sharp. Please arrive no later than 4:15pm!

Question

Is there parking for the wedding if we are staying off resort?

Answer

Yes, the Fairmont offers valet parking or self parking. We recommend using a ride-share service like uber on the day of the wedding so that you can fully unwind and celebrate! The resort also has a complimentary shuttle service for anywhere in the Mauna Lani area (see transportation FAQ).

Question

Is there transportation provided?

Answer

All of our events will take place at the Fairmont Orchid. The resort offers a complimentary shuttle service to the surrounding areas that include Mauna Lani, the shops at Mauna Lani, and the surrounding village/vacation rentals. The only restriction is that the shuttle does not go on the highway, so you will need your own transportation to the adjacent areas such as Waikoloa Village.

Question

What activities can we do on property at the Fairmont?
