As cliche as it sounds we met at a coffee shop. Rachael worked there and Josh frequented multiple times a week with his never changing order of a caramel latte. But here's where it gets interesting. Josh was too shy to say anything and Rachael was a hopeless romantic wanting to be pursued by a Godly man. Ask and it shall be given to you because one day the two of us decided to give a dating app a try (no not tinder) and low and behold, God allowed us to match. On our first date we found out that we went to the same church, had incredibly similar family stories: grandparents in showbiz, artist moms, and handyman dads. We also realized that the line of connection was established way before we had ever met as Rachael had met Josh's mom year prior at a beach concert without knowing it and Josh was childhood friends with one of Rachael's best friends. It was fate. As the years have gone by, we have put our faith in the Lord to guide us, made sure to keep laughter as a necessity, shared many more coffee dates, been there for each other through thick and thin, and shared a love that could only be made possible by the hand and goodness of God. As we walk into this season of life, we are so thankful to all of you who have supported us, loved us, encouraged us, and guided us. We pray that this day will be a reflection of God's love as well as our marriage. Now it's time to celebrate! As Rachael's Greek family would say..... Opa!!!!!!!
