We met the day Josh started working at Tomah Area Credit Union on November 18, 2019. We were both tellers at the time. When we started working the drive up together we began to talk and we just clicked. We realized we have quite a bit in common including movies/tv show likes, video game likes, food favs, favorite sports teams and same core values. As Covid hit we grew closer and I started going to watch him bowl that fall. We fell in love despite our differences and quirks. It was obvious to all of our coworkers that we liked each other. On December 22, 2020 Josh asked me out and of course I said yes. We spent our first date bowling at the Strike Zone and then eating at Subway. I know real romantic. But Josh surprised me and he kissed me for the first time when he dropped me off at home. Josh proposed at Jac's Steakhouse on February 14, 2025 during our Valentine's day dinner he insisted we have. Now I know why. He wrote the question in the valentine he got for me. I loved how subtle it was. We are sure no one in the restaurant even knew he popped the question. After I confirmed with Josh that he was really asking me to marry him I said yes. Oh and we walked out into a blizzard after supper. Now we are looking forward to our wedding and the rest of our lives together.
