Our Greatest Adventure

We met through mutual friends. We would start to show up at the same places time after time, and each time, we would chat a little more. It was a few months in when we had our first long talk, and it was then that I discovered that Josh was in construction. It was also this first conversation that I thought that Josh may be interested in me, yet after a quick perusal of Josh's Facebook page, I was fully convinced that Josh had a girlfriend. It wasn't until a few months later that I found out that the girl in the photos was his sister! A couple month's after that, I purchased my first hoe, and knowing that Josh was in construction, I also knew that he would have good references for all the things that come with home ownership. Josh was super helpful in suggesting people for lawncare, snow removal, etc. Yet Josh never recommended himself, that is until I asked for someone who does patios, to this he replied "I'm your guy!" He always remained so very helpful, and one afternoon when I was attempting to put together yet another piece of furniture which appeared to be more difficult than it looked, I called on Josh to see if he would stop by to quickly help me. Josh agreed to come after he finished work. Since I didn't think Josh was at all interested, I remained in my sweatpants and t-shirt, as I was trying to get a bunch of stuff unpacked. Josh showed up that afternoon fully covered in a day's work, and quickly finished putting together the piece of furniture. After he was done, he asked me if she would want to go to dinner with him. I had no idea that this was going to happen, yet I just went with it, and that was how Josh and I went on their first date, with me in sweatpants and Josh fully covered in a days work. Since that day, our love has continued to grow stronger and stronger. Our passion for adventure and hiking has led us to many great places and we look forward to the many more places we will explore over the years as we build our life together. It brings us so much joy that all of you will be joining us on this special day, as we embark upon OUR GREATEST ADVENTURE!
