We'd love for this to be an excuse for everyone to be looking their best! That said, it's a ski resort, so it's more casual of a wedding than your typical ballroom event. Think more "cocktail" style than black tie.
Honestly, it's Buffalo NY amidst climate change, so anything goes! The past few years in mid October it's been in the 60s, and drops a bit chillier (50s) at night. However, it could be a lot colder....one year we had a snowstorm around this time! Check closer to the date, and cross your fingers for nice weather (we'll be right there with you!)
We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off so you can celebrate properly with us! Our wedding will be an adult-only event, so please plan accordingly.
If your Save the Date/invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
We want to ensure we can celebrate our love safely with our family and friends. We are hopeful that things will look a whole lot better by October 2022! Here are some things we're doing to try to make it as safe as possible: - We **strongly** urge every attendee to get vaccinated and boosted before attending - We encourage all our guests to take precautions: get tested, bring a mask, sanitize frequently, etc. - We are keeping our wedding to a limited size (~100 people at a venue with 700 capacity) - The wedding will be outdoors as much as possible: outdoors for the first half the night (weather permitting), and indoors with the option to go outside the second half We will take all the precautions we can, but at the end of the day, we want to encourage everyone to do what they are comfortable with! We are crossing our fingers and hoping for the best; but keep an eye out for announcements or changes.
