We first matched in August of 2021 when we both moved to New York. After a few text messages about our favorite musical artists, we fell out of touch. In September of 2024, London visited West Point for the first time and went to an Army football game. Luckily for Josh, just days after the game, London swiped on Josh again after seeing he was a Cadet. We both didn't remember matching more than three years later! On November 16th, we eventually went on our first date in Cold Spring where we shared Italian food and drank Diet Pepsi at a local bar. The only thing capable of bringing our first night to a close was Josh having to make it back to West Point for Taps. We ended the date with a goodnight kiss. We started dating on December 7th, the evening we met in New York City and enjoyed all of the City's holiday festivities together. The next week, Josh took the bus back to West Point after the Army vs. Navy football game to meet London for our third date. We met for brunch in Tarrytown, walked around Sleepy Hollow, and started to talk about what our future would look like. Just two weeks later, we met each other's families, said "I Love You" for the first time, and were diving head first into life together. We spent the next six months traveling between West Point and New York City, enjoying our weekends, and spending every possible second together. In May of 2025, London was accepted into the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern, quit her job, and left New York. We spent almost every day of our summers together, traveling between New York; Arizona; Utah; Colorado; and California. On June 28th, Josh flew to San Francisco to surprise London and propose to her at Kirby Cove. London was shocked to see Josh standing on the beach, but elated to give him the "easiest yes." London started to pursue her MBA in August and every weekend that West Point will allow Josh to, we are traveling between Chicago and New York. We are having the time of our lives racking up miles and exploring Evanston. We are madly in love and could not be more excited to spend forever eating Papa John's Pizza and watching Survivor together.
