Leighann and I first met on the dance floor at Southampton Social Club. I went out East for the weekend with a group of friends, we made plans to go to the bar at night and little did I know I would meet the woman who I would spend the rest of my life with. I asked my friend to choose any two ladies on the dance floor and I’ll do the talking. Luckily my friend went up to Leighann's sister and I introduced myself to my future wife. I insisted we exchanged numbers when Leighann mentioned she was going to the bathroom, as we all know how that goes. Two months after we met on the dance floor, we went on our first date for sushi. After about 4 years together, I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Leighann. I asked Joe for permission to marry Leighann around her birthday. With Joe's blessing and tears in everyone’s eyes, on Christmas Eve 2020 I proposed to Leighann, putting her on a scavenger hunt around the house with me at the end on one knee. Our families then came together for the Feast of Seven Fishes for Christmas Eve to celebrate.
