We would appreciate RSVPs to be completed by June 22 to allow our caterers to have an updated head count.
If we didn’t specifically give you a plus one we would very much appreciate not bringing anyone so we know we have enough food for everyone.
Formal attire- not necessarily a black tie event. However, please note the ceremony will be outdoors and if you choose to walk the short path you will need to wear appropriate footwear. For the reception however BRING YOUR DANCING SHOES!!
The area has been cleared of trees and we will be fogging the area for bugs. There will be plenty of shade from the overhead leaves but it might be slightly cooler since we are right by the creek.
4:00 would be a good time to arrive to allow adequate time for parking and walking back to the sitting area.
For the ceremony we will have a dedicated person directing parking since it will be at a private residence and parking will be in grass. For the reception there will be plenty of marked parking spots.
We will have transportation provided for those guests who are unable to walk on uneven ground. We will have at least two golf carts to shuttle them to and from the ceremony.
We have decided to keep our ceremony itself very intimate due to us both having large families and the space being limited in the woods. Anyone invited solely to the reception is encouraged to bring their children! We want to celebrate with everyone as much as possible, but also wish to keep the ceremony small. After all - the real party begins once we’re officially married!! We hope you understand and we can’t wait to see everyone!
