How We Met

Circa. Oct 2018

There are two versions of our story. Josh would say he wooed me, while I would say I did most of the wooing. The one consistent thread you'll hear is that my sissy-to-be was the one who introduced us. I'm not sure I would call it love at first sight, but I think we were both very intrigued by each other after the first time we met. After spending more time together, neither of us could deny the affection that we had for the other, even if we couldn't bring ourselves to address it for quite awhile. I have to give a lot of credit to both of our sisters for putting up with our incredibly awkward interactions while we figured out how we would work in a relationship, especially a long-distance one. The last two years haven’t always been easy. Our relationship was tested many times, but we grew individually and as a couple. Sometimes I find myself in disbelief that Josh and I ended up together, he was my best friend’s cutie brother for so long. But now I get to spend my life with him. God has been so good to us, and we are endlessly grateful that we finally get to be together. We are so thankful for the support of our family and friends throughout this journey and can't wait to celebrate our marriage with everyone that we love.
