On the Saturday before Christmas of 2017 a young 22 year old Kam was ready to party with her girlfriends to a band she loved for a couple years, showed up to Eagles Nest Virginia Beach to watch said band, Radio Romance, play that night. She only knew of this band because her older sister, Katie, knew the lead singer, Sam. So during the show Kam kept making eye contact with the hot guitar player, who she didn’t know yet, while she was singing every word to their songs. So when the band took a break between sets she asked Sam if the guitar player was single. He said, “YES! Go talk to him!” She said, “I’ll need a few more Jack & Cokes before I do that!!” So they played their second set of the night & when they were done she asked Sam again if the guitar player was still single.. “YES!” He replied, “I wouldn’t tell you to do it if I didn’t think it’d work out!” So while this guitar player (Josh) was surrounded by what Sam told her was “high school friends” she marched up to Josh the hot guitar player and said, “I’ve been instructed to get your number!” So Josh (in front of the crowd of women that wasn’t high school friends & actually he told them he wasn’t handing out his number so one of them had written her number down & slid it in his back pocket as Kam walked up) asked frantically for her phone, added his number, & then Kam’s friend that she came with (Erin in the bridal party) said the Uber was there so she had to go! So a few days go by, they were texting, then Josh took his shot.. his band at the time was going to be performing in NYC at the Opry City Stage in TIME FREAKING SQUARE and there was just one problem- he needed a date.. So Josh asked Kam if she could make it so she got a flight, met him in the hotel lobby in Time Square, fell in love with a man she barely knew, and knew that this was something special from that first kiss in the green room. Five months later Kam moved to Nashville and the rest is history!
