When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, we ask you kindly RSVP by June 30th, 2025. If we don't receive your RSVP by the date specified, we cannot make any exceptions and will have to mark you as 'no'. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:30pm, as the Ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your guest's name is listed on your invitation when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise we would love to keep our wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We are requesting semi-formal attire! We would love to see you the color black or neutral tones that fit with the color scheme of the day, shades of green. We would also love to see our family and friends get dressed up with their very best! Please no white clothing, t-shirts, or jeans. For outfit inspiration, please view our 'Requested Attire' section!

Are there any colors guests should avoid wearing?

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - white, ivories, and cream.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the 'Travel' tab for Hotels in the near by area. There are also several Airbnb's close to the venue.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named. Your invitation will be made out to "The {Your Last Name} Family" if your children have been invited and "Mr. & Mrs" if only you and your significant other have been invited.

Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both will take place at The Birkby House in old town Leesburg on Loudoun St SW.
