We first really connected through mutual friends over an intense game of Foosball. I remember calling my Mom 3 or 4 days after we started dating and telling her, "I've found the man I'm going to spend the rest of my life with!" I can't imagine what was going through her head... We began planning a trip to Canyonlands National Park, one of my all time favorite spots, only a week or so into our whirl wind relationship. It was in Canyonlands, while setting up our tent during a sandy wind storm, where I realized what a truly incredible partner Josh was. His patience, kindness and easy going nature balanced and grounded me. From that day I knew that whatever storms life threw at us he was the one I wanted to spend them with. It was right before I was leaving to Taiwan, we were out for some drinks with mutual friends, where i proceeded to beat Erika in said Foosball game. The night continued with the usual smack talk as Erika mocked me for still having a flip phone (if it didn't break I would still have it to this day). Needless to say I had met my match. After returning from my trip we grew closer with many firsts from camping trips to exploring Montana's many breweries and rock hounding possibilities. So here we are about to be married (another first) and looking forward to celebrating this wonderful day with you!
