Because we have made the decision to only have guests who are vaccinated against COVID-19 at our wedding, there will not be any testing needed for guests. Per the venue, we do ask that you bring proof of vaccination, but a photo of your vaccine card or other digital proof will suffice if you are concerned about bringing the card itself.
The Lighthouse is committed to following all up-to-date New York guidelines and protocols. All venue employees and vendors have been vaccinated, and given that only vaccinated guests will be in attendance as well, masks and social distancing will not be required. We of course completely understand and respect those who wish to wear masks, and there will be some available for anyone who needs one. If any additional guidelines become available, we will add them here.
The Lighthouse is located at Pier 61 in the Chelsea Piers Entertainment Complex on the Hudson River. Vehicles can enter the complex via the southbound lanes of the West Side Highway near 23rd Street. Once inside the complex, vehicles can follow signs for The Lighthouse and enter the Pier 61 parking structure. Once inside the parking structure, you can drive through the structure towards the water, where you will find the entrance to the venue! Valet parking is available free of charge for those who choose to drive. While we don't have hotel shuttles, taxis and Ubers/Lyfts are readily available from anywhere in the city. Your taxi/Uber/Lyft driver can follow the same directions as above and drop you off in front of the venue entrance! FYI: Entering the venue name into Google Maps will direct you to the front of the Pier 61 parking structure rather than in front of the venue, so be sure to follow the signs and directions above so you don't have to walk too far!
Friday night's event will be indoors. The wedding will also be indoors, but one of the walls fully opens up to the terrace so we will be utilizing that to allow for more airflow! There are also outdoor spaces to enjoy at both the welcome party on Friday and the reception on Saturday.
Because kids under 12 are not eligible for the vaccine at this time, they will unfortunately not be able to attend.
Of course! Please let us know and we'll be sure the venue is aware.
Tuxes and gowns are more than welcome, but so are suits and cocktail attire if that's what you're most comfortable in! We've waited so long to be with all of you so what matters most is that you are comfortable and ready to celebrate!
We are unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests, unless specified on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding!
Please arrive by 7pm.
The Welcome Party will be a casual event where we can kick off the weekend. There will be a few light bites and plenty of drinks provided, crafted by our favorite bartenders in NYC. Feel free to arrive whenever is best for you starting at 8pm, and come and go as you please. The atmosphere will be relaxed and social, so come as you are! American Whiskey TriBeCa is located at 211 West Broadway on the corner of Franklin Street. It's easily accessible by subway - you can take the 1 train to Franklin Street or the ACE train to Canal Street. It's also an easy taxi or Uber/Lyft from anywhere in the city! If you're staying at one of the hotel blocks and looking to walk, it's a quick 5 minute walk from The Frederick, a 10 minute walk from Sixty Soho, and a 15 walk from the Conrad and The Beekman. There are also some private lots in the area for those looking to drive, but street parking can be a challenge so one of the other options mentioned above is probably your best bet!
Yes! Though while our wedding will not be "unplugged" (the groom is an aspiring Instagram influencer, after all!), we do ask that you please respect our photographers and avoid placing yourself or your phone in front of them throughout the evening. And Josh asks that you tag him.
