Our First Date

The Meteor - Austin, TX

Josh and I almost did not meet. We kept missing each other for about a month. I was supposed to meet him at a Thai restaurant for our first date, but he had to cancel because he got caught up with car issues. We then went three weeks without meeting because I was traveling and came back sick. I was starting to think that we were just meant to miss each other. But then, we finally decided to meet casually at The Meteor for coffee before we would miss each other again. I clearly remember Josh in his bright Hawaiian shirt walking around the front of his dirty white 2003 Toyota Corolla to open the passenger side door for me. As I got in the car I noticed his bike which he had shoved in the back passenger seats since he didn't have a bike rack. From the moment I sat down, I could feel the special connection we shared. I was drawn to his crazy, inquisitive eyes. Every date we had after that was even better than the last. We laughed until our sides hurt, and we talked for hours about everything under the sun. I fell more and more in love with him with each passing day. I am so grateful that God placed Josh in my life. He is my soulmate and the love of my life. I can't imagine my life without him. - Cami

The Rhodonite Claddagh Ring

Unconditonal love, loyalty and friendship!

On September 25th, 2022, Cami got the rhodonite stone that now sits on her wedding band and near her heart on a necklace. A New Moon Ceremony is the perfect time to set intentions as a new lunar cycle rolls around. During this event, she learned that rhodonite is the stone of unconditional love. Rhodonite is a stone that can help us to open our hearts and love others more deeply. A stone that can help us find peace in the present moment, and create a more loving world. The dusty pink rhodonite stone sits within the Claddagh symbol, a traditional Irish symbol consisting of two clasped hands holding a crowned heart. It is a symbol of love, friendship, and loyalty. The heart represents love, the hands represent friendship, and the crown represents loyalty. It is a reminder of the importance of these qualities in our lives. Josh was drawn to the Claddagh symbol because it represented the values that were important to them, and he wanted to find a way to incorporate the rhodonite stone into Cami's wedding band. Josh thought the rhodonite Claddagh ring was the perfect way to do it. The rhodonite Claddagh ring is a reminder of Josh & Cami's commitment to each other, and their commitment to love, friendship, and loyalty. It is a ring that they will cherish for the rest of their lives.
