You can take the ferry from Fort Fisher to Southport which is a beautiful ride and another way to see the area! It is a drive on ferry so makes a great morning or afternoon activity.

Fort Fisher Ferry Terminal

A great local restaurant if you decide to take the ferry over to Southport. Great views of the water and tasty seafood.

Provision Company Seafood

This is a 30 minute drive from Kure Beach. Here you will find tons of great restaurants, bars, breweries, and a scenic boardwalk along the Cape Fear River.
