Will there be a hotel room block for guests?
Answer
Yes! We have a discounted rate of $144 per night for a king or queen standard offered to our wedding guests. However, the king bed rate is only offered for Saturday night. The queen rate is for Friday and Saturday night. I have heard a couple people say they were having trouble with the booking group code. Please ensure you are entering the group code AEJ under "Group code", and not "Promotion/Offer Code". You can also call the hotel if you are having difficulties. Please go to the Travel section of our website for more information.

When is the deadline to get reduced hotel rates?
Answer
The cut off date is Wednesday, June 14, 2023 to reserve a room for a reduced rate, pending availability.

Where will the ceremony be taking place?
Answer
Both the Ceremony and Reception will be taking place at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
All indoors. No one wants to be sweating outdoors in the middle of July in their dress or suit! However, we will be providing some games in the hotel Courtyard in case anyone was interested.

Is there parking available at the venue?
Answer
Yes, the hotel provides plenty of parking for our guests.

Will there be kids allowed?

We have invited a select amount of littles to join us on our special day.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?
Answer
We will have butlered hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by buffet style dinner. And of course, there will be cake and desserts.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
We will have 3 hours of open bar from 5:30p-6:30p, and then again from 8p-10p. Cash bar available around those hours. Beer, wine, soda and call liquors will be offered.

What is the dress code for your wedding?
Answer
Dressy Casual/Cocktail Attire. While we want you to be comfortable at our wedding, we would also like to see everyone get all spiffied up. Although our wedding will be happening in the middle of July, all the events will be indoors with air conditioning. Sundresses, khakis, polo shirts, LBDs, heels, flats, loafers- that kinda style. Please try to go for no jeans. Don't worry, we won't turn you away at the door if you do : )

Am I allowed to bring my kids?
Answer
While we are allowing kids to our event, they will be included in the wedding invite if they are allowed. We would love for everyone to bring their children, but we just don't have enough room for them all.

Is there a pool at the hotel?

This is a question Josh wanted answered for our guests. The answer is yes, there is a pool : )

May I take a centerpiece home as a souvenir?
Answer
Sadly, no, they need to remain on the tables. The centerpieces are the property of the venue.

Where is your gift registry?
Answer
We did recently register for a few gifts on Amazon, but we also have a Honeymoon and Newlywed fund, and all of the Registries can be accessed on our Wedding Website, under the Registry section. In addition, there will be an area set aside at the wedding venue for gifts cards. The most important thing to both of us is to have your presence with us to celebrate our special day.

Are pets allowed at the hotel?

We have just been informed that yes, they do allow pets at the hotel. There is a fee, I believe $75.
