We met on December 2, 2023, at our friend's birthday party. As cheesy as it sounds, the minute we met, we were just drawn to each other. We spent the whole night stealing glances and trying to play hard to get, but miserably failing. After that night, we were inseparable. Josh would drive 2 hours every weekend, no matter the time, just so we could be together. We began to do everything life had to offer together, and not even 2 months later, Josh moved up to Clemson to be with me. We were best friends from the very beginning and loved each other deeply from the very start. Early on in our relationship, we discovered that through the years leading up to us meeting, we were always close to each other. In 2020-2021, I attended Anderson University; in 2021-2022, Josh attended Anderson University. That same year, my mom and I toured an apartment complex in hopes of me finding a place to live; the same complex Josh would deliver pizza to. In 2022-2023, I would drive past the same Clemson University dorms every day for class, and that same year, Josh was inside those dorms almost every day. In the fall of 2023, I met the girl who would introduce us, and that October, she was having a Halloween party. It was at this party that Josh and I were supposed to meet for the first time, but he was not single, and I did not make it because of the traffic coming back home from Anderson. Finally, on December 2, 2023, she had her birthday party. I made it to the party, and Josh was single. We met at last, and our love story began. Now, we are 2 years in and still talk about how amazing God was in all this. We were so close to each other for so long, but God did not allow us to meet until the most perfect time. He knew we were meant for each other from the very start of our lives, and his planning led us to where we are today. We could not be more grateful for all God has done for us. This relationship will forever be the greatest blessing bestowed upon us.
